You start off in Ulvik and paddle along the shore before reaching an islet in the Hardanger fjord. Here, both fun and educational activities await. The experienced guide will teach and demonstrate basic survival skills such as making shelter, making a campfire, and finding and identifying edible plants.
After a recreational and educational time on the islet with bonfires, beautiful nature and lots of fun, it's time for a lunch break before returning to the kayaks. There is no requirement for prior knowledge. Children over the age of five in generally good shape are welcome to participate accompanied by an adult. This is, in other words, a kayak tour suitable for everyone.
The guided tour is open all summer from May 20th to September 30th, and included in the price are kayaks, oars and life jackets. B-Active has daily departures from Ulvik at 09:00 and 14:00 and can accommodate 10 persons per guide. Bring warm, wind and waterproof clothing and shoes. This and other personal belongings such as a camera can be stored in dry bags suitable for kayaks during the trip.
If you want to paddle on the fjord without a guide, you can rent the necessary equipment from B-Active.
