Many good fishing lakes in the mountains. In the fjord and in Røldalsvatnet lake you can fish for free. Other places you need a fishing permit.

Good possibilities to catch mountain trout in the lakes up in the terrain! There are different fishing permits for different areas. You can buy these and get more information at the tourist office in Odda. Some off the permits can also be purchased at the gas station Shell & Texaco in Røldal, the sport shop Vikne sport in Odda and at Odda Camping.
You can also ask at the tourist offices about hunting in the area.
